KYLE ARRINGTON . . . THE NEW JACK TATUM?

11.27.12
Is Kyle Arrington making a reputation as the NFL’s new head hunter? The New England starting CB had 3 notable head incidents in his last 4 games. Each ended with a player leaving the field with medical staff. Arrington left the London, October 28th St. Louis Rams – Patriots game with a concussion, was fined 3 weeks later for a helmet to helmet hit on QB Andrew Luck during the Colts – Patriots game, and then was involved in a collision only 4 days later during the Patriot’s Thanksgiving rout of the Jets that left both Arrington and Jets wide receiver Clyde Gates laying injured on the field. Gates was later diagnosed with a concussion, but Arrington’s injury status is unclear.
Patriots medical director, Harvard-educated Orthopaedic Surgeon Thomas Gill IV examined Arrington and escorted him off of the field. Gill is the team doctor for the Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins.
